GRDO is governed by its Board of Directors (BoD). The Board is the key policy making and governing body of the organization and works independently. It formulates and approves policies and organizational systems and evaluates the overall performance of GRDO on periodic basis. The BoD consists of eleven members and is headed by its President. The GRDO’s Board of Directors comprises of development professionals, educationists, economists, intellectuals, peasants, and social activists. The Executive Director of GRDO serves the board as the Ex-Officio
GRDO has developed its SOPs to carry out personnel, financial and administrative affairs. All SOPs are implemented at all levels in organization and GRDO ensures audit of its all accounts on annual basis. Monitoring and accountability systems are also implemented at all levels and GRDO management ensures compliance of feedback collected from its all stakeholders which includes communities and government too.
GRDO’s monitoring and evaluation system is based on performance indicators as per approved log frame. GRDO organizes quarterly review workshops and meetings. In these meetings and workshops, various issues are being discussed at length. This approach strengthens the system and capacity of staff. GRDO believes that by monitoring by external bodies give a genuine feedback and real picture of project that can help in setting future guidelines.
